  1. Ask yourself if this issue will really matter 5 years from now.
  2. Take deep breaths, inhale and exhale and imagine you are squeezing the tension out when you exhale.
  3. Put your feet up and relax in a quiet and comfortable environment.
  4. Visualization helps. Pretend you are on a faraway beach with waves softly lapping at the shore or in a beautiful wheat field or flowering garden.
  5. Smile inwardly and try a happy face.
  6. Exercise more or take a long walk as our weather turns better.
  7. Listen to quiet, soothing music to relax you.
