Garan Lucow Miller Attorney Meghan A. McGlynn Elected President of the St. Clair County Bar Association

PORT HURON - April, 2009 – Meghan A. McGlynn, Shareholder in the Port Huron office of Garan Lucow Miller, P.C., has been elected President of the St. Clair County Bar Association effective April 16, 2009 through April 16, 2010. Ms. McGlynn has served on the Board for five years and has risen through the ranks from Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and now President.

At Garan Lucow Miller, P.C., Ms. McGlynn concentrates her practice in the areas of ERISA litigation; automobile accidents and injuries; premises liability defense; first and third party insurance defense; dram shop liability defense and general liability defense.

Ms. McGlynn serves as an arbitrator and mediator in both St. Clair County and Sanilac County and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the State of Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board for St. Clair County, the Macomb County Bar Association, and the St. Clair County Bar Association.

Ms. McGlynn graduated from St. Louis University with a B.A. in 1984 and earned her J.D. from the Detroit College of Law in 1988. She is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States Court of Appeals – Sixth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals – Federal Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
