GLM's Dan
Saylor selected as one of state's top attorneys
January 11, 2005
Dan Saylor has been named
as one of the Lawyers of the Year (2004) by Michigan
Lawyers Weekly. This award is presented to only ten
practitioners “who stood out from the crowd during
2004 by winning important cases, being involved in
matters that raise challenging legal issues and
otherwise furthering the profession’s commitment to
the rule of law and concept of justice”.
"Dan’s involvement as
appellate counsel for the defense in Kreiner v
Fischer, cited by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as a
controversial landmark decision, was its focal
consideration in recognizing Mr. Saylor.
Those of us who work with
Dan, however, are equally aware of his family
dedication in addition to his incredible talent as a
lawyer. The firm is delighted that our partner has
been honored as one of the stars of the legal
profession.
Fortunately, at the age of
47, we can look forward to many more years of great
appellate results from Dan Saylor. |
