Harvey Frey, M.D. is a retired radiologist and a recently-graduated lawyer, and he has put a lot of energy into developing this site and to pursuing his agenda seeking to remove statutory immunities from liability on the part of managed care organizations. He has some good points to make about the responsibility that goes along with the economics of medical practice in a managed care environment.

- The former National Health Lawyers Association and American Academy of Healthcare Attorneys have now merged their organizations and combined their web sites. This is an excellent reference for general health care resources.
- Healthcare Financial Management Association -- An organization representing over 34,000 financial professionals employed by hospitals and other health care organizations.
- Harvard Risk Management Foundation -- A joint service of the Foundation and the Controlled Risk Insurance Company, which covers the Harvard medical institutions and their employees. Its
Risk Management Library is a useful reference for lawyers and physicians, although some of the documents are available only to CRICO insureds.

- Reid Psychiatry -- We do not normally link to pages posted by expert witnesses, but this one deserves a look. This is not simply a brochure site; it provides substantive content in the form of a Psychiatry and Law Update, with articles on a number of topics in the field of forensic psychiatry.

Helix
The Healthcare Education and Learning Information Exchange. Its About page states "Sponsored and managed by the Glaxo Wellcome Healthcare Education Department, HELIX on the World Wide Web offers point-and-click access to a wealth of health information on the Internet as well as the Web sites of a number of state and national medical, pharmacy and nursing associations."
PubMed
Offered by the National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine. Includes links to publishers' sites for full-text journals. Initially 24 journals available, some by subscription only.
